I'm looking to do a 15mm viridian army and was looking for some proxies. does anyone have any ideas? I was thinking maybe vietnam era US forces in boonies, but does anyone have any other ideas? thanks

Hmmm...maybe EU or USA forces from Flames of War.I dont have much experience outside of Space Marine/Epic to be of any true help.

Hmm, if you wanted to do Urban War Viridians rather than Void Viridians, WW2 Germans would seem to be the obvious choice. The gasmasks could be a problem, though: most ranges seem to depict the German infantry in just the plain stahlhelm- you could probably get a much closer approximation to the Void look.

Anyway, good luck with the project!

Thought of something - you could use Flames of War Australian Infantry as Viridian Commandos since they have the slouch hats.

Oh, and 15mm modding is easy, just use centimeters instead of inches for all measuring.
And pics, damnit!

Check out GZG line of 15mm sci-fi guys. I am quite certain you could find something you would like.

They also have some good japanese troopers that would work well for the Triads



Now if Urban Mammoth would do some in 15mm then you wouldn't have to look for proxies. Hint Hint. wink.gif

No offense to UM, but they don't even have the entire line released in 28mm, let alone for them starting a new scale....
