Simply,

Can the Drake go through the portals?

We couldn't find anything that said "NO", so played it as yes. It does give the drake an obscenely awesome combat range though.

you're just sore because in the same activation it went through the portal, it went through your biomech assault cell....

On the subject of Drakes... Hybrid or purestrain?
... CD of a purestrain... but it's abilities seem more 'standard' for a hybrid..... plus it looks very hybrid.....
(of course if it was a hybrid, that would reduce it's ability to use portals as well....

I dont have my books on hand, but isnt there a restriction on the size of the models that float through that puppy??

That would be downright scary if they could move through the portals blink.gif
Saramin
I don't beleive there is a size restriction.

Hi Guys,
No restriction on size to go through portal, see page 111.
The only "real" restriction is the number of units that can pass through it as the Phazon needs to make a command check each time a unit exits the portal.

ouch... need to formulate some strategies to avoid disaster in the future i think.

And yes Gus, it did take out the biomenc cell...and then in the next 3 turn took out 3 anrosynth units and 1 m-synth. was not happy.

I have my Talon now though tongue.gif

I have always found that when facing those alien gribblies then I put my trust in BUCKET LOADS of chain guns. Cant open a portal if there is nothing left to open it near too.
I do have aproblem with neural spikes though. I can promise that if my chain gunner team need to make the re-roll then one of them is going pop...........Everytime!!!
