hi gys,
thought i would join up and clarify a few points on the painting contest.
The contest is nothing to do with cool mini but is held on my own forum called Wargames and miniatures paradise (or wamp as some call it nowadays (bit easier on the tongue!!))
its not a massive site (around 130 members) but is a friendly place and a wide mix of abilities on there - everywhere from beginners upto slayer sword and world expo gold medal winners who are all willing to give advice to improve peoples painting (which is the aim of the site) though the uber painters tend not to enter these contests so dont worry too much!!
here is the actual contest thread for you:
http://wamp-forum.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php...366&start=0

and the album link for entries:
http://wamp-forum.com/phpBB2/album_cat.php?cat_id=82

we'd love to have some of you guys enter and maybe stick around afterwards! and if you've never entered a contest before well they are a great excuse to buy and paint some new minis (like we need an excuse!!)

if any of you have any questions then just give me a shout

cheers,

Brett

Hey Guys,

If you don't know already the winners for the WAMP Painting competition have been announced.

The winner was Scott Radon with his "Void Chick", 2nd place went to Piotr Mikians with "3 Steps to Eternity" and 3rd place was Dina Christiansen with a very nice Kabuki Doll.
Congratulations to the winner, with thanks to all those who took part and not to mention to Brett for organising the event. Look out for another one in the New Year.

Check out the winners smile.gif
